There is a First for Everything

Including my first blog post. For the past six or seven months, this blog sat dormant, collecting dust. Similar to my window blinds. For some reason, I just can't get myself to wipe them down. Not even once.

Before becoming a wife, I was The Nearlywed, telling my story of the ins and outs of planning a wedding. I guess you can say that I left that blog hanging, it has barely been updated since the wedding. Some people get married and become wedding planners. Some people get married and run far, far away from weddings. I fall somewhere in the middle. I am the editor of a bridal magazine, so I can't run too far.

I was married in April. No, it doesn't feel any different. And yes, eventually I got used to my new name. While it doesn't feel any different, I love being married. In an instant, my husband and I matured into a trophy-winning team. But I won't bore you with too much marriage talk, yet.

So for now, I leave you with a few wedding photos, the day I became the wife. I've always been glamorous.

I am clearly proof that glamorous and classy are not the same thing.
